
BRAND LANGUAGE AND VISUAL STUDIES
Numerous Holocaust survivors were on set during the filming of “Schindler’s List.” Many of them approached director Steven Spielberg and requested that he help share the real stories of their experiences. He formed and endowed USC Shoah Foundation to document and create a video archive of survivors’ stories and build a curriculum to teach about genocide.
USC Shoah Foundation asked us to help them refine their brand language. Here is a presentation deck — in which we challenge the thinking and language of world-renowned Ph.D.s — and offer ways to sharpen their rhetoric.
